Selleck was a prominent character in a variety of TV films in the new millennium. This included the Jesse Stone series in which he played the role of a New England police chief. He also served as the executive producer of the series and was awarded an Emmy nomination for his part. Selleck is a police commissioner who is part of an officer family that spans generations in the Blue Bloods. The show premiered on CBS in the year 2010 and was later renewed. Alongside Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg He was in Three Men and a Baby that was a massively popular comedy. It was the highest-grossing film ever.
