Kari Sam Wuhrer born on 28th April 1968 is an American actor and singer. She made her acting debut in her teens. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She has three siblings. When she was in her teens, she performed at nightclubs in the dark, escaping from home. She studied acting from the age of 13 at the Wooster School. She then pursued drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with famed teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American model, actress and singer. Her birth date was April 28, 1967, and was raised in Brookfield, Connecticut. She is the daughter of the father of a German American and a mother who is German-American. Kari is the youngest of three kids. In her teens her nightclub, she performed as she slipped out to perform. Kari started acting in the Wooster School at the age of thirteen, and went into drama school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was an teen, and her first television break was in 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
