Anita Sarkeesian is a Canadian-American feminist media critic and public speaking. Feminist Frequency is a website where you can find videos and other commentary analysing portrayals women in popular culture. Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian-American blogger and media critic who has been awarded awards in her field, is an activist blogger. She was the co-creator as well as the executive director for Feminist Frequency an educational non-profit website that focuses on the role of women in popular cultural narratives. She's committed to removing stereotypes of women and the way they are portrayed in popular culture. Furthermore, she is working to increase awareness about online harassment directed at women as well as marginalized groups of individuals. A graduate in political and social thought from York University Sarkeesian is also well-known as a sought-after talker.
