Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles in the way he's known for the music world, is an British singing and composing. Harry Styles belongs to the band One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England 1 February 1994, he is the son Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own band, composed of three classmates, which he called White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. He always had an interest in music, but also wanted to become a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. He worked for a time as a part-time baker in the city he lived in and hoped to assist economically at home. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 to The X Factor. The group was then forced to split up because of the fact that they were selected. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be a part of a new band called One Direction. The other group members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they formed in 2010. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to win the contest. But they came in third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Although Harry Styles and his group did not win Cowell signed a deal worth 2 million pounds to One Direction to sign with the Syco recording label.
