Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born April 16 1996, in Miami Florida. Half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father is an Argentine and has Scottish as well as English heritage. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy has four siblings from her father's previous marriage. Family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy, the move was traumatic and she refused to learn English to the hope of returning to Argentina. Hill House, a school in the same district as Northlands was obligated to accept her. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. In her 16th year she left college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor.
